Privacy Policy

Pourtype runs entirely on your Mac. It makes no network requests and collects no data: no analytics, no identifiers, nothing you type or grab. (If you have chosen in macOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass crash reports to the developer; Pourtype adds nothing to them.)

What stays on your Mac

• History. Text you grab with ⌘⇧C and text you type with ⌘⇧V is kept in a history file on your Mac, with a small screenshot for each grab if you leave that option on. You can turn history off, choose how long it is kept, delete single entries, or clear it all in Settings.
• Settings such as typing speed are stored in the app's preferences on your Mac.

Permissions

• Accessibility lets Pourtype send keystrokes to the field you are typing into, and hold the keyboard and mouse while it types so focus cannot move. Input is held only during a typing run; Esc releases it at once.
• Screen Recording lets Pourtype read the pixels inside the box you draw with ⌘⇧C. Text recognition runs on your Mac with Apple's Vision framework.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.

留在你 Mac 上的内容

• 历史记录。用 ⌘⇧C 识别的文字和用 ⌘⇧V 打出的文字会保存在你 Mac 上的历史文件里；如果保留截图选项开着，每次识别还会存一张小截图。你可以在设置里关闭历史、选择保留时长、删除单条，或全部清空。
• 设置（例如打字速度）保存在本机的偏好设置里。

权限

• 辅助功能：用来向你正在输入的位置发送按键，并在打字期间锁住键盘和鼠标，使焦点不会移走。只在打字时锁定，按 Esc 立即释放。
• 屏幕录制：只用来读取你用 ⌘⇧C 框选区域内的画面。文字识别用 Apple 的 Vision 框架在本机完成。

变更

如本政策有变更，新版本会发布在本页面，并更新生效日期。
